This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains how cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are handled for tours and experiences offered by Build Tours LLC (“Build Tours,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By booking a tour or purchasing a gift card, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Public Tours

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Public tour bookings may be canceled or rescheduled up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

  • Requests made less than 24 hours before the tour start time are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.

No-Shows & Late Arrivals

  • No-shows are non-refundable.

  • Late arrivals may miss part or all of the tour and are not eligible for refunds.

Tour Cancellations by Build Tours

If Build Tours cancels a public tour due to weather, low attendance, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances, guests will be offered:

  • A full refund or

  • The option to reschedule for a future date

2. Private Tours

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • Private tour cancellation and rescheduling policies vary based on tour scope, duration, and preparation required.

  • Specific terms will be outlined in your booking confirmation or written agreement.

Deposits

  • Deposits for private tours may be non-refundable, especially for custom or multi-hour itineraries.

  • Any applicable refund conditions will be clearly communicated in advance.

3. Corporate, Educational & Custom Tours

  • Corporate, university, school, and custom tours often involve advance planning, staffing, and research.

  • Cancellation and refund terms are defined in the signed proposal, agreement, or invoice.

  • In most cases, partial or full deposits are non-refundable.

4. Weather Policy

  • Tours generally operate rain or shine.

  • In cases of extreme or unsafe weather conditions, Build Tours may cancel or reschedule a tour at its discretion.

  • If Build Tours cancels due to weather, guests will be offered a refund or rescheduling option.

5. Gift Cards

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and have no cash value.

  • Gift cards may be used toward any eligible Build Tours experience unless otherwise stated.

  • Expiration terms (if any) will be specified at the time of purchase.

6. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original method of payment.

  • Refund processing times vary by payment provider and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

  • Service or processing fees charged by third-party platforms may be non-refundable.

7. Third-Party Booking Platforms

Bookings made through third-party platforms (e.g., travel partners or resellers) are subject to:

  • Build Tours’ policies and

  • The cancellation and refund policies of the third-party platform

Please review third-party policies carefully before booking.

Build Tours reserves the right to update this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
